Hellman earns 11 ADDY Awards
Hellman received 11 awards at the AAF-Cedar Valley ADDY Awards Competition at the Waterloo Elks Club on Thursday, February 18. The agency’s team of marketing and advertising professionals brought home five Gold ADDY Awards and six Silver ADDY Awards. Three industry professionals from Chicago, Omaha and Kansas City judged all entries.
Hellman received a Gold ADDY and Judges’ Citation award in the Sales Promotion category for the Penford Corn Starch Folder, done for Penford Food Ingredients Co.
Other projects to receive Gold ADDY awards include the Official 2010 John Deere Calendar – Dawn to Dusk, in the Direct Marketing category; the Impregum Film Noir Website and the Impregum Film Noir Webisodes, both done for 3M ESPE, in the Interactive Media category; and the Impregum Film Noir Campaign, also done for 3M ESPE, in the Mixed/Multiple Media category.
Hellman won Silver ADDY Awards in the following categories: Sales Promotion, Interactive Media, Mixed/Multiple Media, Advertising for the Arts & Sciences and Advertising Industry Self-Promotion.

The top 15 entries, including three Hellman entries, will advance to the District ADDY Competition, held later this spring. Hellman entries include the Impregum Film Noir Webisodes, Penford Corn Starch Folder and the Official 2010 John Deere Calendar – Dawn to Dusk. Top entries in the District Competition will move on to compete in the National ADDY Competition, in Washington D.C. in June. The three-tiered ADDY competition is the world’s largest advertising competition.
